We offer a range of services related to health prevention and disease detection in our male patients. Some of the services are itemised below:

  • High blood pressure

  • Weight management
  • Promotion of a healthy non-sedentary lifestyle
  • Treatment of existing circulatory disease, such as angina, previous heart attack or diabetes

Mental Health

The life time prevalence of depression in males is 13%. Possible triggers of depression include chronic illness, recent unemployment, bereavement, stress, financial difficulties or housing problems. Excess ingestion of alcohol or other substances can also trigger a depressive episode. Certain forms of depression have no identifiable trigger. It is a common treatable condition and there is no shame in suffering from depression. We treat all forms of mental illnesses including anxiety, bipolar disorder, phobias, schizophrenia and substance addiction.

Prostate Cancer Surveillance

Prostate Cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in our male patients. The regular screening of our male patients over 50 can detect some cancers at an early stage. The usually involves a blood test(PSA) and clinical examination. See the link below for a more detailed synopsis of prostate cancer screening.

Erectile Dysfunction
