Introducing the latest addition to Lakeshore Medical Centre, Loughrea. Chartered Physiotherapist Elaine Raftery B.Sc (Physio) B.Sc (Anatomy) MISCP.
Elaine Raftery has been practising as a Chartered Physiotherapist since 2007. Elaine obtained her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree from Trinity College Dublin after initially completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Science (Anatomy) from the National University in Ireland, Galway. Since qualifying Elaine began building her experience in the public sector. Elaine has been working in Private Practice since 2009. Elaine has been involved with numerous GAA and rugby clubs over the last few years including the Roscommon Senior Football Team (2012-2014). She is a qualified Pilates Instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) for the last 4 years.
Her specialties include occupational, sport and spinal injuries and practices acupuncture and dry needling for musculoskeletal conditions. She has attended a wide range of post graduate courses to develop her skills but has specific interest in Women’s Health, in particular Incontinence, Post Partum issues and pregnancy related Pelvic Girdle Pain.
